This textured concept website has been designed for a rustic pottery and ceramics studio.
Bold image shots set the scene from the first look at the sites’ bold header image to the scattered item and posed pics throughout the site. For this brand, its history, makers values and processes are an important part of communicating value to their audience.
The site design gently lays out the important parts of this story, including the studio’s expertise and design principles, to give potential buyers an idea of just how special these items are!
The branding focused on the hand-made simplicity of the studio.
The small turned pottery cup mark is clear, simple and its waney lines convey the artistic, rustic and creative nature of the studio and its ceramics. The colours are a combination of soft and soothing greens, slate, creams and mosses.
This delicate pallet lets the boldly styled images speak and is evocative of rural England (in my mind this studio is based in Devon, in the South West of England!).
